I have had my eye on Charlotte Tilbury for a while now. I have a list of items I want to purchase from the brand as long as my arm, but due to being a student right now, things have to be checked off the list slowly but surely. The first thing I wanted to try was a lipstick because they look so luxe and I’ve heard such great things.

As soon as I saw Pillow Talk being announced as a lipstick I knew I had to have it as my first Tilbury purchase, it matched one of the most cult lip liners of all time (which of course is on my ‘to buy’ list!) I think this is limited edition, which is what drew me to it more (I’m a advertisers dream!), I could purchase my other makeup lusts at any of time as they were permanent.

First off, like all of Charlotte Tilbury products the packaging is gorgeous, anything rose gold I am a sucker for! I love that is looks and feels expensive whilst I use it. It looks so beautiful displayed on my makeup desk, it makes my other lipsticks look so basic!!

The shade itself is a beaut, the perfect nude colour that works for everyday and also evening. It is my ultimate MLBB shade! It looks like it would pair with a lot of makeup looks as well, which is great! I wanted to make sure if I was spending all that money that I would get the use out of it. I love the finish as well, I was blown away by the formula. A lovely, comfortable matte finish that lasts ages and doesn’t dry out my lips! I agree that my lips do look plumper when I use this lipstick, which is a claim of the ‘Matte Revolution’ lipsticks. This quality of the lipstick has given me such a major want for more of them, I hope in the future I can own all the shades!

Despite how much I love everything this lipstick, the fact that its limited edition means that I won’t be wearing it on an everyday basis. I will savour every application and use it for special occasions or when I want to feel extra! Once I finally get my hands on the Pillow Talk liner, I’ll be able to use that more often because it’s a permanent product!

If you can get your hands on the Pillow Talk lipstick, I definitely recommend it. It’s sold exclusively on the website. Have you tried anything from Charlotte Tilbury? What should I try next, or is on your wish list?

Lizzy 🙂
