I’ve been thinking about doing a bit more Project Pan content here on my blog. I have been doing a year-long Project Pan throughout the year. I decided to do a mini project for the last half of the year and document it for you guys. I have selected a few products to focus on to get them out of my collection this year. These are some of the oldest products in my collection that I know are on the edge of expiring/I have other products I prefer.

Estee Lauder Double Wear – This was my holy grail full-coverage foundation for a while. I’m not sure if I really like this anymore since it can be a bit of a cake-y finish on me because its so full coverage and long-wearing (which means I’m not wearing it that often). I have had it for nearly 2 years and I can tell the formula is starting to change – which is why I want to use this up ASAP. I’ve got about a third left of this and I think if I make more of a conscious effort to use it I can have it done by the end of the year.

MAC Twig Lipstick – I was given this as a gift 3/4 years ago from Dom so I think it is time to move this out of my collection. It is more of an Autumn/Winter shade for me but maybe if I wear this as a blush I might get some use out of it during the Summer months. I have about half left and if I push myself to reapply when I wear it as a lipstick to get it used up a lot quicker.

MAC Whirl Lip Liner – I really, really don’t like this product. It is very drying and the colour is too mauve on me that it looks purple in an unflattering way. My goal is to use this as much as possible during the rest of year and then get rid of it regardless of where I am at. This is so old that it needs to go!

Sorry about using this ratty envelope to map my progress – I couldn’t find any paper!

Wet n Wild Reserve Your Cabana highlighter – This is the highlighter I wore on my wedding day and I think it is time to move this out of my collection. It is more on the natural side which I like, but I have other highlighters that I like more. You can see that I have used up quite a lot of this which is part of the reason why I picked it for this project. I use this as a highlighter and to set my eye primer everyday which I’m hoping will be enough to get more use out of this to have it nearly done.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Shapeshifter palette – After having this for about 2 years I’ve realised I don’t like this palette at all. The cream side is really drying and the powder side is too pigmented to be user-friendly. I have a couple of pans in the cream side and I aim to at least hit pan in every cream before I get rid of this.

Stila Glitter and Glow minis (Kitten Karma and Smouldering Satin) – I have only two of these left from my mini set that I purchased last year (you can read my review here) since I used Rose Gold Retro up completely. I have had these for about a year now and think I want to use them up and get my money’s worth. I can sense my final shades are starting to dry up so I wanted to put them in this project for me to use them. I don’t think there will be any way to measure my progress with these until the moment they are running low/gone.

So there was my Project Use it Up 2019 Intro! I think I will update you guys on my progress on Instagram (follow my progress here) and I will post a finale on my blog at the end of the year I think. I am still figuring out where I want from my beauty instagram page, so please bear with my whilst it looks a bit bare right now! Let me know if you’d prefer more frequent updates on my blog too.
