I am really starting to understand the hype with Fenty Beauty. Not only are the products awesome, but the inclusivity makes me want to support the brand even more.

As a self-confessed lip gloss lover, I knew I HAD to try the Fenty Glosses. So many people peg the Gloss Bomb the best gloss they have ever tried. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about so I picked up the original Fenty Glow a few months back. And spoiler alert, I loved the original so much that I picked up their newest shade Fu$$y more recently. I wanted this post to review the Fenty Gloss Bomb as well as comparing the two shades I own in case you only want to pick up one.

Starting off with my thoughts on the Gloss Bomb formula, I have to say I was blown away by this. It gives a beautiful level of shine without being sticky or heavy. It has a shimmer in it to make the lips look juicy and plump but doesn’t feel gritty like some lip glosses that contain glitter can do. This glossy feels really hydrating so it not only looks good, but feels good too. It lasts a few hours which is pretty good for a gloss – I don’t mind reapplying anyway. The doe-foot applicator is pretty big which means you can achieve a your desired look in just on application. I am obsessed with the Gloss Bomb scent. It has a fruity-vanilla scent that makes wearing this gloss that bit better. It is definitely one of the best lip glosses I’ve tried in terms of formula.

Now onto the comparison of Fenty Glow and Fu$$y. The original shade, Fenty Glow is a rose-y nude that looks good with any makeup look. I can wear this alone for a subtle rose-y sheen to the lips, or over a nude lip liner/lipstick to give my lips a boost. I love this shade because it enhances my natural lip colour.

The shade Fu$$y is a dusty pink shade that adds a my lips but pinker effect. It looks beautiful alone, but you can play up the pink tone by applying it on top of a pink/pink-y nude lip colour. It is the perfect medium pink shade that isn’t too light or dark for my fair skin tone.

L-R: Fenty Glow and Fu$$y

Since I am such a lip gloss lover, I think there is a space for both shades in my collection. Both shades look great with any makeup look, I just pick whichever lip product I want on the day. Since these are lip glosses add a softer luminising effect to the lips that aren’t supposed to add a load of pigment there isn’t a huge difference between them. If you prefer pink glosses go for the the shade Fu$$y, but if you are a nude gloss lover I think you’d prefer Fenty Glow. The formula means my lips are left feeling hydrated and juicy looking throughout the wear time. It is easy to chuck in your bag and touch-up throughout the day. I definitely think the Fenty Gloss Bombs are becoming my favourite gloss formula of all time.
