So I was looking at my makeup collection and noticed something. I am so drawn to rose gold packaging… I know so basic, right?! But there is something about it that looks so eye-catching and chic that makes other makeup packaging look so dull and ordinary. I thought what better way to celebrate my love for rose gold than sharing a few standouts from my makeup collection.
- Spectrum Marbelous Brushes – I love Spectrum as a brand (Dom gifted me the Core Collection for my birthday and I am obsessed!), they do such amazing quality brushes at affordable prices. They are also cruelty free and vegan which is another amazing bonus. I purchased this set during a sale they had going on and have used them daily ever since. This eye set features brushes that everyone should have in their collection to create beautiful blended eye looks. What drew me to this is that I didn’t own a lot of these brushes all ready, so I knew I would get the use out of them regularly. These brushes are great for natural, everyday eye looks or for creating that intense smokey eye.
- Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Pillow Talk – This is a recent addition to my makeup collection, but still one that I get excited about owning everyday! I love seeing it in my lipstick display every time I go into our bedroom, I feel so fancy owning something for Charlotte Tilbury. She is the queen of rose gold packaging, which is making me want to purchase more and more products. What is amazing is the lipstick is amazing quality as well (see my review here), so I feel like the price is somewhat justified by the product and packaging quality.
- Barry M Feature Length Mascara – I will have to admit, it is the packaging that drew me to this product at first. I love the rose gold with the almost art-deco, 1920s vibe on the packaging. I was on the hunt for a cruelty free mascara from the drugstore and saw that this was a new release. I would say it gives decent length to my lashes, but in a more natural way, so if you are looking for a more natural, fluttery lash then this might be for you! It’s not the best mascara I’ve ever tried, but definitely not the worst. I would repurchase as well, especially since its £4.99!
So there were a few rose gold products from my collection! I’m sure it’s gonna be ever-growing since I’m such a rose gold lover!
