I recently received my copy of Tanya Burr’s baking book called ‘Tanya Bakes’ and have vowed to make every single recipe in there before I die.I found it so hard to choose my first bakes, but I chose The Smarties Flapjacks the weekend I got the book. Since then I have had a real want to bake more, so I decided to make the Cornflake Choc Chip Cookies because they looked (and tasted) delicious!

The recipe was really easy, a standard cookie recipe (butter, golden caster sugar, a large egg, self-raising flour, milk choc chips) with the cornflakes added to it to give it extra crunch.

Here’s a few pictures of the process of making them:

The cookie dough with all the ingredients!
The dough formed into balls, ready to be baked in the oven.
Fresh out of the oven!
Waiting for them to cool

I just wanted to share a few pictures of my recent baking activities because I am really into baking right now. I hope this post was interesting and gave you lots of baking inspiration. Do you have Tanya Bakes? Or do you have a favourite cookie recipe? I would love to know!
